Thanksgiving - Tribal Offices Closed
All Ottawa Tribal Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025, in observance of Thanksgiving.
Children’s Christmas Party
Children's Christmas party. Children MUST be present to pick up gifts. When driving through, please follow the signs directing traffic and do not get in line early. This will impede traffic. You will need to provide the parent’s name listed on the registration to pick up gifts.

A Nomination Meeting for a Grievance Committee position and the 2nd Chief position will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00pm.

The sole purpose of the meeting will be to take nominations for the recently vacated position for:
Second Chief – term expires 2028
Grievance Committee member #4 – term expires 2026
All candidates must have their names placed in nomination and passed before their names can appear on the election ballot. Tribal members must bring their tribal ID’s with them to count towards a quorum for the meeting.

Nomination Meeting for Grievance Committee Special Election

The Election Committee has been notified of a vacancy in the Grievance Committee, resulting in a Special Election. There will be a Nomination Meeting at the Ottawa Peoria Building at 2331 E Eight Tribes Trail, Miami, OK 74354 on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 6pm. Tribal members attending will need to present their Ottawa Tribal ID at the door.
Nominations will be accepted from the floor for the position of Grievance Committee Member #4, term ending 2026. Nominees must be physically present to accept a nomination. To be eligible for nomination, you must be an Ottawa Council member, age 18 or older, and not have been convicted of a felony in the past 5 years.

General Council is a meeting facilitated by the Business Committee and developed for a state of the union address in order for tribal members to gather, learn about tribal businesses and grants, and participate in an open forum to ask questions.
